Julie Elmore Receives Two Honors


Dollar General is proud to announce Julie Elmore, vice president and chief technology officer, has been recognized by Retail Info Systems as a 2022 Top Women in Retail Tech.  Additionally, Julie recently received a silver Stevie American Business Award from the Technology for the Next Decade, Today awards programming.
 
“Julie is dedicated to driving DG’s mission of Serving Others through both her leadership and her team’s work of advancing and spearheading new technology features at Dollar General,” said Carman Wenkoff, Dollar General's executive vice president and chief information officer. “On behalf of the entire leadership team, we congratulate Julie and the digital team for the notable recognition.”
 
Julie joined Dollar General in 2018 and continues to play a significant role in the Company’s development of digital and technological advancements to further enhance value, convenience and access for customers.
 
Julie’s Stevie American Business Award in the New-Normal Digital Transformer category recognized her and the DG digital team’s work to build a digital ecosystem specifically tailored to provide customers with a more convenient, frictionless and personalized shopping experience. Established in 2002, the Stevie Award honors and generates public recognition of the achievements and positive contribution of organizations and working professionals worldwide.
 
Retail Info Systems 2022 Top Women in Retail Tech list recognizes female technologists redefining the industry and deploying game-changing solutions, leading exceptional teams and reimagining retail in the face of change.
