Dollar General Donates $10,000 During Grand Opening

Dollar General furthered its mission of Serving Others at the official grand opening of its newest location in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Saturday, March 17. Dollar General presented the Foundation for Tulsa Schools with a $5,000 donation to support library and literacy initiatives in the Tulsa community. The Company also provided the Tulsa Library Trust with a $5,000 donation.
 
The grand opening of the new location at 744 E. Pine St. was positively received by the community. The first 50 adult shoppers at the store received a $10 Dollar General gift card and the first 200 shoppers received a Dollar General tote bag with complimentary product samples, along with free prizes and special deals.
 
Dollar General is proud to serve the Tulsa community and its residents and we look forward to welcoming customers to our new location on East Pine Street in the coming weeks, as well as continuing to be a longstanding business partner in the community.



Region Director Kelly Blankenship presented the $5,000 check to Matthew Newman, Foundation for Tulsa Schools board chair.
