Tracey Herrmann Named to Top Women in Grocery List by Progressive Grocer

Tracey Herrmann, senior vice president of channel innovation at Dollar General, was named to the Progressive Grocer’s Top Women in Grocery list in the Senior Level Executives category. This award recognizes women in food retail and grocery industries that have led innovative initiatives, astute problem-solving and exceptional performance benchmarks.

Currently, pOpshelf operates in more than 66 stores in 7 states, offering select food items including specialty items for charcuterie boards, snacks and more. As with Dollar General’s customer-first merchandising strategy, pOpshelf seeks to understand the wants and needs of the target audience as factors in determining product categories to offer.
Tracey joined Dollar General in 2013 and has held various leadership roles across merchandising, supply chain and store operations while furthering the Company’s mission of Serving Others.
Progressive Grocer's Top Women in Grocery program started 16 years ago and has become the premiere awards program that recognizes female leadership. Each year, the awards program honors the efforts of outstanding women from the retail, supplier and service provider community.
