New Web section lets customers browse holiday selection and create a shopping list
GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn., Nov 10, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Dollar General will launch a new Web page today that is dedicated entirely to the holidays. The new page at www.dollargeneral.com makes holiday planning quick and easy.

The special section features more than 500 holiday items available in Dollar General stores that are searchable by price and category. It also features 50 toys under $10, recipes and expert advice on tying the perfect bow, decorating a mantel, building a wreath and much more. Customers will also find suggestions on how to create the perfect gift. And, customers can make their list and check it twice with the site's shopping list builder.
The special section is one of the many ways the discount retailer is making shopping and saving money even easier during the holiday season. Dollar General launched Christmas in its stores in October, and its wide assortment of affordable holiday gifts are now available in all stores. The retailer is also helping parents stretch their dollar further with nearly 80 percent of its toys priced under $10.
