- Preparation - To avoid excessive mess customizing a pumpkin, cover the kitchen table with a vinyl tablecloth for easy clean-up or layer newspapers on the sidewalk. Don’t forget a plastic container or resealable bag to save the pumpkin seeds for toasting!
- Carving Kits – Experienced carvers can use kits to create detailed designs like scary faces and intricate scenes while novice pumpkin carvers will use the carving tools to help cut out patterns and faces. With the appropriate supervision, it’s an ideal tool set for all types of designs and levels of expertise. Finish the pumpkin by placing a flameless candle inside and enjoy the spooktacular sight.
- Accessories and Lights – Pumpkin accessories such as a Frankenstein kit or pumpkin inserts that are ghostly and say “Boo” are perfect for decorating with children. Accessories are also ideal when time is limited but a pumpkinless stoop just won’t do.
