Dollar General is excited and honored to announce that Jennifer was recently named to Ragan’s 2024 Top Women in Communications list in the Visionary category. The recognition highlights her efforts to develop DG’s Here for What Matters™ award-winning corporate reputation campaign as well as leading the Company’s media relations, issues management and corporate visibility initiatives.

Showcasing how DG lives its mission of Serving Others and is there for its hometown communities, the Company’s Here for What Matters™ campaign consists of real-life examples of DG’s impact on literacy and education, addressing food insecurity, serving communities in need, employee recognition and more. Since launching in 2020, the campaign has developed more than 100 creative assets, including with national media partners such as Fortune, Reader’s Digest, Delish and PEOPLE.
The campaign has received more than 20 accolades including two Provoke IN2 SABRE Campaign Awards for platform creation; three Addy® Awards including a Gold, Silver and Special Judges Award; an Eddie Award for Advertorial/Sponsored Content; three Silver W3 Awards for Brand Strategy, Branded Content and Copywriting; a PRSA Silver Anvil Award for Reputation/Brand Management and Integrated Communications for Consumer Products; and 11 Telly Awards in partnership with FORTUNE Studio for 2021 and 2022 campaign videos including DG’s content highlighting its Feeding America® partnership, the top-performing FORTUNE partnership of all time as of 2022.
