INvolve Names Pooh Vichidvongsa to 2024 EMpower Future Leader Role Model List

Dollar General is thrilled to share that Pooh Vichidvongsa, pOpshelf’s senior vice president was recently named to Involve’s 2024 EMpower Future Leaders Role Model List for her significant contributions to the inclusion of ethnically diverse employees at the Company.

Since joining Dollar General more than 15 years ago, Pooh’s leadership and advocation for diversity and inclusion has made a significantly positive impact at the Company. From spearheading initiatives for Dollar General’s Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to mentoring diverse colleagues in her community, Pooh continues to foster a work environment that encourages belonging and the importance of representation.

The global Empower Role Model Lists supported by YouTube showcase leaders who are breaking down barriers at work and smashing the ceiling for people of color within global business. Additionally, Pooh was named to Mass Market Retailer’s Most Influential Women List in 2023 and Involve’s HERoes 100 Future Leaders Role Model List in 2022.
