“Dollar General is committed to the communities we call home,” said Denine Torr, senior director of Community Initiatives. “As individuals and families begin their path to recovery from this devastating disaster, we hope our efforts will help ease their burden and speed the rebuilding process.”

In keeping with the company’s mission of Serving Others, Dollar General commonly provides support to local communities affected by natural disasters.

“People in need turn to the American Red Cross in their darkest hours because they know we can provide immediate relief and support throughout their recovery,” said Brad Kieserman, American Red Cross vice president of disaster operations and logistics. “We are grateful for Dollar General's continued support of Disaster Relief, which enables us to respond to a disaster at any moment’s notice.”
