Mi Súper Dollar General’s Newest Store Openings
Mi Súper Dollar General recently opened new stores in Juárez and Apoda, Nuevo Léon both with community celebrations. The first Mi Súper Dollar General store opened in spring 2023 in Escobedo, Nuevo León, representing Dollar General’s first international expansion.
Stores offer customers affordable, everyday low prices in convenient store locations which includes financial services, a bakery and tortilleria. Products are primarily sourced from Mexico and include fresh produce, health and beauty products, home cleaning supplies, pet care, housewares, stationary and other household essentials. Hispanic Foods
DG strives to be a good neighbor that responds to consumer requests for essential needs, which includes products they want and need in a nearby and convenient shopping experience. Dollar General stores provide affordable, authentic Hispanic foods in more than 20% of U.S. stores.
DG’s diversified Hispanic product set features authentic brands including Jarritos, Jumex, Maseca, Clamato, Tapatio, Lucas, Bubu Lubu, Juanitas and Duvalin, as well as 100+ core items carefully curated for the communities we serve.
HOLA ERG
DG recently launched its newest employee resource group (ERG), Hispanics & Latinos of Leadership & Achievement (HOLA). This ERG was created to celebrate and highlight the rich culture of our Hispanic and Latino employees and customers, while also providing opportunities for personal growth, employee collaboration and activities, community outreach and cultural understanding for all. To help celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, HOLA is hosting several employee events in the coming weeks.
Latino Corporate Directors Association’s Corporate Visionary Award
Dollar General recently received the Latino Corporate Directors Association (LCDA)’s prestigious Corporate Visionary Award, which recognizes the Company’s commitment to advancing Latino representation on its Board of Directors.
