Dollar General Receives Gold Globee

Company Recognized in 2022 American Best in Business Awards
Dollar General recently received a gold Globee Business Excellence Award for the Company’s extraordinary team response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The award highlights how Dollar General partnered with SnapNurse and state and local health departments to support COVID-19 vaccine accessibility in the communities DG calls home.
Dollar General recognized its expansive and unique real estate footprint, particularly across rural American communities, provided an opportunity to be part of a solution to COVID-19 vaccine access. Dollar General and SnapNurse’s partnership with state health departments broke down barriers of accessing the COVID-19 vaccines and tests by bringing mobile SnapNurse clinics into communities that may have been harder to reach, thus providing access for rural communities and high-risk individuals.
