Discount Retailer Goes Back to Its Roots to Celebrate Milestone In Fountain Run, Ky.

GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. (BUSINESS WIRE), July 29, 2010 - Dollar General Corporation (NYSE: DG) will return to the state where it all started to celebrate the opening of its 9,000th store on Saturday, July 31, at its newest location in Fountain Run, Ky. This milestone further distinguishes Dollar General as the retailer with the largest number of company-owned stores in the United States.
