GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. (BUSINESS WIRE), November 08, 2011 - Dollar General (NYSE: DG) is making it convenient for shoppers to support men and women serving in the military. Throughout November, shoppers can record a message of gratitude or send a care package through www.dollargeneral.com/military.

Throughout the month, customers may purchase care packages for a soldier online at www.dollargeneral.com/military. The available care packages include male or female-specific essential health and beauty items such as deodorant, shaving supplies and medicine for $20 or $30. Customers will provide the soldier’s mailing address and Dollar General will ship the packages for free to any valid address in the United States including any APO/FPO.
