Dollar General Moves Up in Fortune 500 Rankings

Dollar General is excited to announce we have increased our ranking to #139 on the 2016 Fortune 500 list, moving up 20 spots from 2015 and marking the highest Fortune 500 ranking the company has seen to date. DG continues to see growth within the company and in the communities we call home, which is all thanks to the more than 115,000 DG employees across the globe.
Dollar General was first ranked 259 when the company went public in 2009, increasing 120 spots over the past eight years.
Our convenient, everyday low price model continues to remain true to our customers and we look forward to future milestones and accomplishments as the company continues to grow.
