Dollar General Employee Featured During NYSE Opening Bell

Dollar General is proud to recognize Crystal Burroughs, a store manager in Greenbrier, Arkansas, who was recently featured during The Opening Bell® at The New York Stock Exchange. Burroughs represents the thousands of Dollar General employees who continue to go above and beyond to support the communities we call home.

Burroughs stands as an exemplary model of our employees’ dedication to Serving Others. Dollar General learned from a local community member that Burroughs distributed household essentials and favorite items to a homebound family that frequents her store.  

Word of Burrough’s selfless actions spread and continue to inspire others as she is featured with a photo during The Opening Bell® as part of the NYSE #Gratitude Campaign. According to the NYSE’s website, “At the NYSE, we join millions of others who stand in awe and gratitude of the way people around the world have responded to the COVID-19 crisis - from medical professionals, to workers who ensure our food supply, and those who keep our streets safe.
