Dollar General Adds New Stores

 
In its expanded format, Dollar General will offer area residents a convenient new place to shop for essentials including fresh meat, produce and fuel at everyday low prices. The new store is approximately 12,000 square feet, compared to a traditional Dollar General format that is approximately 9,100 square feet.  The additional 3,000 square feet will allow Dollar General to provide fresh meat and produce, items currently unavailable in its current location, in addition to the value of America’s most trusted brands and our own private brands that customers expect from Dollar General.  The new store will also provide customers with a fresh new layout, which provides a more customer-friendly format with faster checkout. 
 
Additionally, the new store is expected to employ approximately 15 employees, depending on the individual needs of the store. Anyone interested in joining the Dollar General team may visit the Career section at www.dollargeneral.com/careers.
