DG Welcomes Pepsi's Rolling Remembrance

May 09, 2017

In recognition of May’s Military Appreciation Month, Dollar General welcomed Pepsi's Rolling Remembrance truck to its Store Support Center in Goodlettsville, Tennessee on Friday, May 5.

In 2015, PepsiCo began “Rolling Remembrance” – a cross-country relay of the American flag – to raise awareness of and benefit Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation, an organization that aims to provide college scholarships and education counseling to military children who have lost a parent in the line of duty.

As part of the day’s events, Dollar General recognized the company’s SERVE employee resource group comprised of military veterans, their families and supporters.

PepsiCo and Dollar General also presented a $10,000 donation to Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation.
