Noodles come in all shapes and sizes – bowtie, spiral, stringed and elbow – and can be used in a variety of different recipes. Celebrate them all with Dollar General during National Noodle Day on October 6!
From lasagna to casseroles, salads and soups, noodles have been eaten for thousands of years. Enjoy the day by cooking your favorite meals using Dollar General’s exclusive Clover Valley® brand egg noodles.
Ingredients
1 (14.75-oz.) can Campbell’s® Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup
¾ cup milk
1-1/2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
3 (9.75) cans Swanson® Premium White Chunk Chicken Breast in Water, drained
3 cups Clover Valley® Medium Egg Noodles, cooked and drained (about 4 cups cooked)
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ tsp. ground black pepper
¾ cup shredded cheddar cheese
Directions
Heat the oven to 400?F. Stir the soup, milk, vegetables, chicken, noodles, Parmesan cheese and black pepper in a 2-quart casserole dish.
Bake for 30 minutes or until the vegetables are tender. Stir in the chicken mixture. Sprinkle with the cheddar cheese
