Shweta Bhatia Receives Two Prestigious Technology Awards

Bhatia Named as Honoree to Chain Store Age’s 2023 Retail’s Top Women Awards and Retail Info Systems’ 2023 Top Women in Retail Tech List



Shweta Bhatia, Dollar General’s senior vice president of information technology applications and base engineering, was recently named to Chain Store Age’s 2023 Retail’s Top Women Awards in the technology category and Retail Info Systems’ 2023 Top Women in Retail Tech list. Both awards recognize Bhatia’s innovative mindset and leadership in transforming DG’s digital tools in more than 19,000 stores.

Chain Store Age’s 2023 Retail’s Top Women Awards recognizes outstanding female executives in retail to highlight the crucial role women play in key areas of retail operations and their overall contributions to the industry at large.  The program recognizes women in the following categories: technology, supply chain, store development/facilities management, and real estate.

Retail Info Systems’ 2023 Top Women in Retail Tech list highlights the female retailers driving the industry forward thanks to their innovative use of technology, showcasing the retail industry’s most innovative, out-of-the-box tech executives.
